UNITED NATIONS – TAKE HEART TO BE SCREENED

Moonshine Movies and the World Heart Federation have recently collaborated on a short film as part of the Take Heart series which will be shown at the United Nations in New York on World Heart Day (29 September 2015).

This is a wonderful opportunity, as the audience will include very high-level delegates from around the world, who have the capacity to make real change. Her Excellency Mme Toyin Sakari will be hosting the event, and representatives of the United Nation’s Every Woman Every Child movement will be there to show their commitment.

TAKE HEART TO SCREEN AT UNITED NATIONS

The RHD Action movement is being launched in New York on 29 September (World Heart Day), during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The World Heart Federation have been involved in planning the event that will commemorate this launch, which will coincide with United Nations Member States officially mandating the Post-2015 development agenda.

Moonshine Movies are delighted to be involved in this initiative that has the potential to make a big difference to Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) prevention.

RHD is a completely preventable disease that threatens the lives of over 30 million young people around the world.
