TAKE HEART NEW ZEALAND
Part One of the Take Heart project has officially expanded its scope to include New Zealand.
Thanks to the support of the NZ Ministry of Health and Cure Kids, Take Heart has now captured stories in South Auckland and the Northland.
Thanks to all the participants including New Zealander of the Year (2014) Dr Lance O’Sulliavn, Dr David Jansen, Associate Professor Nigel Wilson and Professor John Fraser as well as the participating families.
TAKE HEART NEW ZEALAND
Take Heart is a visual communications project about the Quest to Rid the World of Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD).
Part One looks at the situation in Australia and New Zealand, where around 2% of Australia’s indigenous population and New Zealand’s Maori and Pacific Islander populations have preventable RHD.
We look forward to sharing the release schedule of the short film series, one-hour TV documentary and photographic exhibition over the coming weeks.
